To complement the dusting of snow on our windowsill right now (no, really), Sony has announced that it’s bringing the classic white PlayStation 3 Super Slim to North America later this month. As with Canada, the wintery system will arrive on 27th January, and will come with a year’s subscription to PlayStation Plus and a 500GB hard-drive. The hardware bundle will set you back a cool $299.99.
Sony’s really playing up the Instant Game Collection angle of this package, which is smart as far as we’re concerned. Think about it: you could feasibly buy this bundle, and never need to pick up an actual game. Man, PlayStation Plus is insane. Are you tempted by the limited edition hardware? Let us know in the comments section below.

Tempted? Yes. Do I have the money? No.
In the words of Daniel Bryan YES! YES! YES!
PS+ is definitely a good deal when you first buy a console, since normally you'd only have 1 or 2 games to play at first. You can't beat having 12+ games for only $5 a month.
It certainly looks nice, but not $299 on something I already have nice.
Canada is technically North America too.
This article is confusing for people who have knowledge of basic geography.
White PS3? My black one still works
@FuzzyYellowBalls uh lots of things are excluded from Canadian consumers. They mean continental U.S., guy. And I guess you've never heard of the RLOD? Troll.
@FuzzyYellowBalls it was confirmed that it was coming to Canada already, and now we know it's coming to North America (Canada and USA) so honestly, I don't see whats confusing about this article. If he said "coming to america" than yes, it would have been misleading
I'm in the market for a new ps3, so maybe I might get this, but I honestly could careless for PS Plus, I want the games in physical form
It's nice to have a new color but I'll stick with black.
