If you fancy yourself a bit of a budding deity, then SPL’s upcoming PlayStation Vita puzzler Doodle God might be right up your alley. The scientific simulator sees you assuming the role of a god, and mixing and matching elements in order to create new ones. These are then used to fill blank worlds with fresh properties and materials, ultimately culminating in life.
“You are a god, standing at the threshold of new discoveries,” game designer Konstantin Feofanov explained on the PlayStation Blog. “You have an empty, bare world before you, begging to be filled, and there are indeed lots of things to fill it with. Starting with ordinary things like marshes and mountains, our new god will uncover the secrets of the human soul, study the tricky concepts of magic, and discover the fascinating world of science.”
There are four worlds in total to fill, with the puzzles evolving as you progress. The first location sees you constructing the foundations of life, while the second one has you inventing new tools and equipment for the inquisitive humans that occupy it. “You’ll have to discover the other two for yourself,” Feofanov teased.
