Those of you in North America will now be able to use PayPal to add funds to your PlayStation Network account. To take advantage of the functionality – which launched in Europe late last year – all you need to do is login to the Sony Entertainment Network website, select ‘Add Funds to Wallet’, and click on the conspicuous PayPal button. It’s easier than earning the Platinum Trophy in Wonderbook: Book of Spells.
Sadly, there’s currently no way to use the third-party service with a PlayStation 3 or Vita, but we have to imagine that’s something that’s in the pipeline. It certainly makes sense, doesn’t it?
