If you’re eager for more entertainment options on your PlayStation 3 and Vita, then you might be excited to learn about the imminent arrival of EPIX. According to the PlayStation Blog, the online streaming service will bring its library of movies, concerts, comedy specials, and sports to both systems in North America later this year.
“The application will be free to download on the PlayStation Network, and EPIX subscribers will be able to instantly stream a broad range of movies and entertainment content, including many new and popular releases like Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, The Hunger Games, Thor, and much more,” Sony’s Phil Rosenberg explained.
EPIX will launch on the PS3 later this quarter, with the Vita version set to follow in the spring. Is this an application that you'll use? Let us know in the comments section below.

I'm not even sure what this is, only that I live in the US and still can't get it as it' cable tv subscriber based, which is stupid in so many ways. It is nice that Sony is adding stuff to the XMB though n these waning days of the PS3.
