This Is What Happens When Vikings Relax

Vikings don’t head to the seaside and sip on piña coladas when they want to relax. Instead, they do much the same as they would on a normal day – attack each other. The twist is that they embark on this antagonistic pastime in brand new locations, such as on golf courses, cruise ships, and, er, giant chess boards.

Of course, you’ll be able to learn more about the ancient warriors’ down days for yourself by picking up When Vikings Attack’s new expansion pack. The add-on is already available in North America – those of you in Europe will need to wait until Wednesday – and includes ten new environments, a solo survival mode, a bunch of unique characters, and six Trophies.

But that’s not all. Clever Beans has been hard at work on a new patch for the title, which adds a couple of fresh features to the existing release for free. On the PlayStation Vita, you’ll now have the opportunity to participate in multiplayer matches via ad-hoc, while the online component will now also support cross-platform invites.
