Things are finally looking up for Lara Croft. After months spent stranded on a desert island, the famous protagonist is finally getting her reward – by sharing her journey to Hell and back with throngs of players across the globe. Posting on Twitter, brand director Karl Stewart beamed that over one million people were playing the game less than 48 hours after its launch.
The news will delight Square Enix executives, especially seeing as it took over a month for the series’ previous entry Tomb Raider: Underworld to sell 1.5 million units. We wouldn’t be surprised if the current title did almost double that in the same period. It’s well deserved, too – check out our review to find out why you should buy the Uncharted-inspired reboot.

Great news, hope it continues to do well.
Lovin' it.
The game's really cheap in the UK. You can get it for less than £32 in most stores. With the strength of the brand name, I'm not surprised it's doing well. I expect this to do really well.
