It’s hard enough for us to believe that the adventures of Commander Shepard’s lovable alien crew are over, so BioWare must be feeling pretty emotional right about now. Following the Canadian developer’s Mass Effect panel at PAX East earlier today, it released a retrospective video featuring numerous team members' fondest memories of the trilogy.
As a nice supplement, we’ve even been handed a lovely infographic that makes for some particularly interesting reading. Apparently, 64 per cent of you didn’t even meet Wrex in the Mass Effect 3 campaign – for shame. The community has also racked up a massive 10.7 billion kill count in the game’s multiplayer – does that disprove the co-op naysayers? Take a good look at the statistics and let us know if you were among the majority in the comments section below.

I can't believe only 18 per cent of people played as FemShep. What is wrong with the world?
LOL, I beat ME3 on insanity difficulty and played as female Shepard =). Never played Mass Effect as male character.
Those people that didn't play as FemShep missed out.
Also, it's pretty interesting that nearly everyone cured the genophage.
I didn't cure genophage because I really hate those lizard-aliens.Was in need to destroy them from ME1.
Interesting statistics. Some of these are pretty surprising. I was mostly in the majority except for a few instances such as using the Soldier class and meeting Wrex.
you couldn't play as femshep in the other two (I believe) so alot of people would just finish the series with the character they know I played alil of the first game, but now that it's out in trilogy, I might pick it up. Game looks awesome, just don't know if it's for me :S
@hydeks You could actually play as femshep through the entire trilogy. I think you might be referring to the fact BioWare remodeled the default femshep in Mass Effect 3?
Anyway I found this to be a very interesting infographic. The amount of people that rant about femshep would make you believe far more users played as her. And only 4% completed the game on insanity? I've played co-op so much it makes insanity seem like a cake walk! I'll be getting that platinum someday...
i always went Paragon and played as MaleShep but after giving FemShep a go i thought to my self "this character is just better, better voice and just seems to deliver it with more emotion" so i decided to start the whole thing from the beginning with FemShep
honestly FemShep should be the poster person for the Mass Effect games
@get2sammyb - To be fair I'm sure alot of people just started the game with out changing anything so those people by default would always be male.
I love this freaking trilogy so much. I have the Platinum Trophy for each game even have the DLC trophies so they are all at 100%.
I always enjoy my Paragon run more. I don't like being mean to my squad especially Tali I love Tali.
I really didn't like the look of FemShep in the first two games. I know you can tweak her look but I could never get her looking the way I wanted. That said I think her default model looks great in ME3.
Most of those stats are somewhat believable - although the femshep one seems a little off. I don't understand why so many people didn't get to see wrex though. That one just seems crazy!
Oh, and can anyone explain why the survival rate of some characters are so high? I didn't understand that stat. How do some live and some die?
@Majin-Naruto Ah but if these stats are anything to go by then femshep certainly shouldn't be the poster person. The difference is far bigger than I ever imagined it would be.
@ztpayne7 I don't quite understand the survival stat either. I'm guessing it has to do with who actually survived up until the end of Mass Effect 3. If I recall correctly, your squad can be killed during the final run to the beam in London, so that would explain how characters like James and EDI can die.
Also, if this is the case, then I feel sorry for Kaidan. It seems like Ashley got picked over him time and time again.
@ShogunRok yeah but these stats are only for ME3 not the entire series a i know people who for them ME3 was the first they played and lets not forget the WiiU this was the only ME game on that system
i reckon if they took stats from every ME game it would be different
