Remember when Microsoft said that no one would even know about the PlayStation 4’s announcement? Well, the debut trailer for Sony’s latest system has topped YouTube’s most viewed advertisements leaderboard in February – beating out a slew of Super Bowl commercials in the process.
The spot – produced by the platform holder’s recently ditched marketing consultant Deutsch – is essentially just a montage of footage from last month's PlayStation Meeting. However, it still managed to garner a whopping 26 million views in February. Even more impressively, it only had eight days to do so. What does the manufacturer need to do to maintain this kind of momentum? Let us know in the comments section below.

I was really excited to see this. I hope the new agency really delivers because Sony needs better marketing. I wonder how many views Microsoft's video will get.
@davitpr I suspect excitement will be similarly high to be honest.
Having said that, for the amount of stick that Sony's marketing department gets, PlayStation's online presence is particularly strong.
I suspect it will be bigger, because Sony has opened the eyes of so many people.
Of course ms announcement is waited by them too
I can't wait for e3, to see more PlayStation 4
