The recently announced Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will raise its sails on 29th October, according to a page on Ubisoft’s website. Technical wizards DarkZero discovered the date by, er, adding an extra letter to the URL of the publisher’s countdown website. Sadly, the page has since been patched up, so you’ll have to make do with the screen grab embedded to the right.
In addition to the date, the site also notes that the title is “coming to next-gen consoles”, which will presumably include the PlayStation 4. The sequel will supposedly take place in the Caribbean, where it will apparently feature a new protagonist named Edward Kenway. Check back on 4th March at 17:00PM GMT for official details.

Definite PS4 pick-up for me.
So Ubisoft have got not one, but two titles releasing on this gen and next gen consoles. I wonder how many more we'll see do this? I can certainly see big franchises like Call of Duty appearing on both.
Eh.....
I'd hope it performs technically better on PS4. No more framerate drops, small draw distances and glitches!
Ubisoft is going to help increase PS4 sales if they keep this up!
