A sequel to the surprisingly satisfying long-range shooter Sniper Elite V2 will target both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 next year. The straight-firing Sniper Elite 3 will aim to capitalise on the success of its predecessor, which IGN reports went on to sell an impressive 1.1 million copies in 2012.
Unfortunately, additional details are being kept under wraps for the time being. It’s safe to assume that series creator Rebellion will once again be at the helm of the project. Is your trigger finger itching? Let us know in the comments section below.

I'm way more excited for this than I probably should be.
@get2sammyb Is the first one as good as people claim it is?
@TheRealBatman It's not a 'good' game in the traditional sense. It's a solid 6/10, if you know what I mean. It's above average. But it's a whole lot of fun, which is why I'm really excited for the sequel.
@TheRealBatman Aw, it's better than 6! Literally, my only complaint in the whole game is that the crawl cycle is kinda choppy looking, which affects nothing gameplay-wise. I'd really recommend it to anybody with a PS3. Really long campaign with about 10 different locales. Good AI and mechanics if you put it on the hardest difficulty. Replay value is near to 1st playthrough, too! Plus, co-op and multiplayer!!!!
P.s. now you get the DLC with it for way cheaper than I paid for vanilla new. Oh yeah, there's also continuous DLC support
Well then, I guess i'll be getting it 1 since I didn't get achance to play it and 3 whenever it comes out.
