Pinch yourself, because it’s definitely the day for unexpected movie adaptation announcements. In addition to the Ratchet & Clank Movie, animation outfit Blockade Entertainment has also revealed that it’s working on a direct-to-video film based on Heavenly Sword, the Ninja Theory-developed PlayStation 3 exclusive starring warrior Nariko.
Details about the movie are frustratingly scarce, but it will definitely be a computer graphics affair. There’s no word on whether the UK studio behind the original title is collaborating on the flick, but we’d assume that it's had some involvement. Naturally, this doesn’t seem like as good a cinematic fit as Ratchet & Clank – but it does make us wonder if Kai and company are poised to make a comeback on the PlayStation 4.

Im actually more excited for this than R&C as Heavenly Sword has a lot of untapped potential in the world and characters. I think we know what to expect with R&C. I just hope this isnt cheap cartoon
animation but looks like the game, only better.
That said, R&C will probably be much better, but I can hope anyway.
Never played Heavenly Sword but know the character thanks to PS: Allstars.
Hope someday they giveaway this game for PS+
I personally think that this is a bit of a random choice unless a sequel is on the cards. It does make you wonder, doesn't it?
I hope we do get a sequel. Trying not to be overly excited for this, but I just can't help it. One of my favourite ips ever.
So, if there making a movie, you'd think there was gonna be a sequel, right? Please Sony....
Alright! A sequel for PS3!!
@Epic It is an early ps3 game it doesn't have trophies so I doubt they will give it on PS+ since they are usually giving out 'recent' games. But you can find for very very cheap prices.
It's a nice game if you like hack and slash genre and the story is interesting not that deep but enjoyable and visuals look great and some sequences are quite memorable. And also it is not a very long game probably finished in 5 hours or so
On bluray with haste, now shut up and take my money Sony.
