Lukewarm Media has deployed a brand new trailer for its episodic PlayStation 4 adventure Primal Carnage: Genesis, which shows off the scope of the prehistoric product. It starts with a small reptile playing in the mud, only for a throng of enormous beasts to arrive out of the wilderness. Right at the end of the footage, you’ll get another glimpse at the tyrannosaurus rex that broke out of the test tube during last week’s reveal video. Are you excited for this?

Look entirely possible on PS3 so far...
@KALofKRYPTON Yeah, I agree with that. I'm still quite excited by the prospect of an episodic game involving dinosaurs, though.
@get2sammyb Yeah, and of course there could be good use of the new console's features. But for U4 it sure does look very U3.
I agree with the could be done on PS3 comment. Every time I see something done with the unreal engine I am disappointed. I wonder if it is falling behind, or just a poor selection of demos so far.
I often think the only reason people use it is because of its licencing policy. Free to use, and just pay a % of profits if you make any. So great for smaller companies.
@Ginkgo
Don't get me wrong. The other UE4 demo looks great, there's just not much going on in these Primal Carnage things. Also, it looks as if the assets aren't that great to start with..
There are a lot of UE3 games on PSN that look like crap - anything demolition derby inspired especially - so I don't know why people think an "episodic" - meaning DL only - game on PS4 would like it was pushing the PS4 hardware, it just doesn't work that way.
Forget dinos, I need a new Godzilla game, Unleashed on the Wii was subpar at best, and there has NEVER been an HD Godzilla game. I need a Godzilla game with a playable Kumonga.
@rjejr: Actually, the main guy behind those Godzilla games is making a new kaiju brawler as kind of a 'spiritual successor' to those games called Kaiju Combat. They're releasing it in almost Lego-like packs, that you can combine when a new 'module' comes out. This will actually allow them to release a Godzilla and a Gamera pack later on, which the players can then combine to have the ultimate fanboy dream battle! https://kaijucombat.wiki.zoho.com/About-Kaiju-Combat.html
I'm interested to see how the gameplay will look. This video doesn't look TOO impressive, but it still got me interested. So that's something.
@KALofKRYPTON : Personally, I wasn't impressed by the other U4 demo either.
Ooohhh ps4 can render grass.what now xbots?
wow it has been a while since a good dino game has been released i am optimistic about this.
