Is this a response to yesterday’s Xbox announcement? It’s probably a coincidence, but it’s interesting that Sony’s opted to release this trailer for the PlayStation 4’s controller less than 24 hours after Microsoft confirmed the date for its impending system’s announcement. If memory serves correctly, we think that this footage was first shown during the PlayStation Meeting in February, but it’s worth watching again.
In it, a bunch of Sony developers discuss the device’s features, including the touch pad, light bar, and, of course, ‘Share’ button. If you’re eager for more information on the PS4’s next generation input device, point your peepers at our feature dedicated to some of the lesser known functions of the DualShock 4. Is there anything in particular that’s got you excited about the controller? Let us know in the comments section below.

I really want to grab one just to confirm if its really cormftable and isn't just to big and if isn't awkard use the touchpad in a game.
When he is flicking the pad it seems like he is hitting the analogue stick...This was one of my worries when i first saw the design of the DS4
#1 rule of storytelling: show, don't tell. I want to see a clip of 2 people passing the controllers and the split screens seamlessly switching, I want to hear bullet noises coming out of the DS4. All empty promises and potential until fulfilled.
Oh, and that first shot of the DS4 looks like a double-headed something out of hentai.
Overall though, it could have been much worse and I've liked the DS4 design since day 1. .
I can already tell its gonna be comfy in my giant hands even if its got some weight to it. It seriously looks like the ergo ps2 controllers made by MadCatz, which were way nicer to use than ds2, imo. Only complaint was the crappy sticks, which Sony knows is important to people. I'm freaking stoked.
@charlesnarles They've apparently tightened up the sticks a lot.
One thing the DS4 has going for it (that I haven't seen mentioned yet) over the Gamepad or tablets - couch mutliplayer. 2 or 4 player split-screen for all those horrible app games like Fruit Ninja and Cut the Rope whee finger sliding is required.
Admit it Sammy, you want 4 different colored giraffe heads squirreling up the screen simultaneously to see who's the last giraffe standing
I just hope it has rumble thats one thing that is now expected in any dualshock
