A royal affair like Dragon’s Crown was never going to eschew pre-order bonuses. Atlus has revealed that those who register their interest in the Vanillaware brawler for either the PlayStation 3 or Vita will be rewarded with a 64-page art book sporting the work of designer George Kamitani. The tome will also include scrawls by popular Japanese artists Kinu Nishimura and Akira Yasuda.
The game’s due out on 6th August in North America, and will set you back $49.99 on the PS3 and $39.99 on the Vita. There’s still no word on a European release, but we have to imagine that it will make its way overseas eventually. The wait for an official confirmation goes on, though.

Still no word about european release? DAFUQ?! .... One of the games i really want to play! I want this I want to play this on holiday when my girlfriend wants to read a book or in the airplane
Argh, Atlus why? I have a horrible feeling this is going to take months to come to Europe. People ain't gonna be happy.
Its wierd Atlus is realising both versions of the game but aren't offering Cross-Buy O_O
wow this is coming on the vita? did not know that, now I'm even more interested, and that artbook looks insanely cool!! Can't wait to play this one.
@hydeks I'm in the opposite boat to you as I had no idea it was coming out on the PS3. Thought it was Vita-only. Hope it comes to the UK sharpish, along with Muramasa.
2d, co-op, Sega, ... for $40?
What century is this? (Jk, but srsly.)
@rastamadeus yay, where pretty lucky to be getting this in NA, I can't see it not coming to Europe too, though, it would be really foolish of them not too
@charlesnarles I take it this kinda game isn't to your liking lol That's cool, I grew up on SEGA brawlers like Streets of Rage, so a game like this is a definite must buy for me. Hopefully soon (E3 time) Sony shows something on Vita for everyone
im buying day one, no questions asked.
We're (still) patiently waiting for the European release dates for -this game-, and Muramasa Rebirth Vanillaware...
