Sony may be about to start charging for online multiplayer, but it’s really hard to argue against the value of PlayStation Plus. The platform holder has just revealed the premium service’s European offering for July, and it includes a little release called Battlefield 3. You’ll be able to download the first-person shooter for free from 3rd July.
Also set to deploy on that day are complimentary copies of Payday: The Heist and Saints Row: The Third. It’s clear that all three titles are being given away in order to promote their impending sequels, but how can you not be elated at such an impressive offering? That’s three top-notch PS3 games for the price of your subscription.
But, of course, that’s not all. Over on the PlayStation Vita you’ll also score free copies of Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Unit 13. That’s all in addition to the usual roster of monthly discounts and content goodies.
Just a quick heads up: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Lord of the Rings: War in the North, The Cave, Rayman Origins, and Coconut Dodge Revitalised are all set to depart on 3rd July, so if you haven’t grabbed them yet, you know what you need to do.
We probably don’t need to ask, but are you satisfied with this update? Let us know in the comments section and poll below.

Absolutely ridiculous. I'm most looking forward to Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus as I haven't ever played that — Vita version or the original — but this is just a ridiculous lineup.
@get2sammyb You beat me to it I was just about to post about this lol Battlefield3 is ridiculous! how has Sony managed to get that on PS+? I was actually considering picking it up again soon. I voted for SR3 as Im yet to play it fully
"...but it’s really hard to argue against the value of PlayStation Plus."
Unless you compare the US and EU updates, then I think you can make an argument that the US hasn't been getting equal treatment. Stand alone even the US PS+ is worth it but it seems lopsided in favor of the EU in comparison.
Has the US received KoA:R yet? It's really a pain keeping up w/ what is and isn't available any given month when you aren't a member. I know the PS Blog has tiny photos but I'm more of a spreadsheet guy, I need dates:
Title - Date added - Date leaving
Actually the UK PS+ page is good; it has big icons, descriptions a clock and filter buttons. The US page is has pop-ups over the photo, ind of annoying:
UK:

US:

@rjejr here is a spreadsheet from reddit https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AguesZ0CXzHLdFdnMl9XYmJvSUlzLUFlTlRjNFk2YUE
It looks like EU will get the good stuff.... . AGAIN.
Oh well at least we got Saints Row the Third 1st
@ZeD - Nice. Thank you very much, it's bookmarked.
Too bad I live in the US
Definitely getting Battlefield 3 and anyone know how big Ninja Gaiden Sigma + is because even though i own NGS i wouldn't mind being able to play it on the go but i have to watch my storage space on the Vita i only have a 4gb card for it
@get2sammyb
Im starting to hate PSN+, I complained before about no updates for PSN+ but now im complaining that I dont have time to play all these PSN+. I was joking about hating it. In honesty I hate myself for having a job and not having enough time to play these games. Retirement in 35 more years, maybe then i can enjoy these games.
I voted for PayDay as I've played Saints Row and Battlefield and I don't have a Vita/PSP. However I had played Payday's demo and really liked it but never got round to buying it due to AAA titles taking all my money. Really happy it's for free now and if I enjoy the whole game then I'll buy Payday 2 on launch!
I read somewhere that eu ps+ has the better treatment because they have a bigger fanbase, which means more money from plus members so they get rewarded in kind. where as the us adopted a more microsoft approach, meaning you will get rewarded, but not as well. it does seem logical (not fair though),but how true this is i'm not too sure. hopefully this will be cleared up with ps4 on the horizon. i'm all for equality.
