Sony confirmed overnight that DriveClub will be available as a launch title for the PlayStation 4 – and PlayStation Plus subscribers will score a free version of the game as part of their membership on launch day. Judging by the terminology being used by SCEA executive Jack Tretton on stage, we’re guessing that this giveaway will differ to the retail version, and will perhaps boast more microtransactions than the full release, but that’s pure speculation on our part.
The trailer embedded below offers a glimpse of the game’s social mechanics, and demonstrates how you’ll be able to compete against your friends on every corner and straight. The title will be playable on the E3 show floor all week, so we’re sure that we’ll get a much better glimpse at the team racer over the coming days. In the meantime, let us know if you’re looking forward to the title in the comments section below.

It remindes me of my favourite racing game of all times - Metropolice Street Racer. I don't like racing games so much, but this looks really awesome..And visuals looks stunningly perfect.
Drive Club has resurrected my love for racing games, I plan on playing it until it begs for mercy.
Duuuuuude. My 500 days left on Plus won't be wasted. Sony is truly the greatest guy. (do people remember Strong Bad?)
It does look awesome, I can't wait to play it. Unfortunately it will likely be totally overshadowed by GT 6 but I won't go off about that again.
