Troy Baker is quickly becoming as ubiquitous as Nolan North. Not only has the actor already starred in The Last of Us and BioShock: Infinite this year, but he’s also set to adopt the role of the Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins and Delsin Rowe in inFAMOUS: Second Son. This brand new behind-the-scenes video deployed by Sucker Punch shows how the developer is using advanced motion capture techniques to record the actor’s performances in the latter.
“The team is really excited with the possibilities that this kind of advancement brings to the table with Second Son,” said technical director Spencer Alexander on the PlayStation Blog. “The truly exciting part of our complex facial and motion capture pipeline and all of the hard work that everyone is putting into the new technology is that at the end of the day, it’s the actor’s raw performance showing up on the screen.”
We’re expecting inFAMOUS: Second Son to play a huge role during Sony’s E3 press conference next week. Don’t be surprised if the game receives a lengthy on-stage gameplay demonstration, as well as a number of new trailers. As an open-world title, we suspect that this is going to really push the power of the next generation console. The cinematics definitely look ace already.

I really feel like the way that they're building this up that this is going to be something very special. I'm excited. My only concern is that the "impact" of the announcement has been lost — I suspect that people are going to be groaning during the E3 press conference when Sony shows stuff from games that were already announced during the PS Meeting.
@get2sammyb I'm fairly sure Sony would be smart enough to show gameplay of Second Son. And more extended footage of Killzone and other games. This is certainly their time to shine with the reveal of what the console looks like, price, and so forth. So they gotta sell sell sell it to the consumer.
I've never seen Baker and North in the same room at the same time. They're definitely the same person.
What a twist!
What's crazy is that as good as this is, Quantic Dream is doing it with this gen.
Nolan North will always reign supreme! But back on track, sounds lke Second Son will gave some solid voice acting.
Troy Baker is a real talent, I'm glad he's finally getting the attention he deserves.
