Much like Disastercake’s recent Kickstarter campaign for RPG throwback Soul Saga, Coda Games' upcoming Liege is inspired by countless PlayStation classics. Fortunately, the tactical title – which aims to blend an adult narrative with dense strategic gameplay – could be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Vita, assuming that it secures $52,000 of funding.
“The games that I played on the PlayStation consoles, including classics like Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy VII, Suikoden, and many more, had a huge influence on the vision for Liege, so the thought of getting onto the platform is pretty unreal,” beamed one-man developer John Rhee in a blog post.
At the time of writing, the game’s raised roughly $32,000 on Kickstarter, so needs a further $20,000 investment to expand to Sony’s systems. You can contribute by backing the project through here – both the $10 and $25 tiers will secure you a copy of the game on your PlayStation platform of choice.
We’ll hopefully have lots more on the ambitious title over the coming days. In the meantime, feel free to peruse the project’s Kickstarter page – and don’t forget to tell us if you’re planning to pledge in the comments section below. The title sure looks pretty, doesn’t it?
