Our bi-weekly weekend gaming discussion may be hitting the airwaves a little later than expected, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t time for us to disclose all of our delicious gaming plans. As always, this isn’t a one-way affair – we want to know what you’re playing, too. Don’t forget to let us know what’s keeping your PlayStation consoles busy in the comments section below.

I’ll be hitting the links in Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational for the PlayStation 3. I loved the PlayStation Vita version, so I’m hoping that this big-screen re-release also scores a hole in one.

I'm looking forward to starting Muramasa Rebirth, which arrived yesterday, but am currently playing Hotline Miami and WipEout 2048's Fury DLC – all on the Vita. With the hotly anticipated Killzone: Mercenary still to come, this feels like Sony delivering on portable gaming nirvana.

This weekend, as I'm holidaying across France, my Vita's finally getting the love that it deserves. After initially punishing it with the slightly naff Resistance: Burning Skies, I've more than made up for my malice by playing the excellent Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition and continuing the outstanding Persona 4: Golden.

I’ve taken a rather jovial approach to gaming over the last few weeks, with my focus mainly on High Moon's rather brilliant Deadpool and the quietly impressive LittleBigPlanet Karting. This is proving a much needed detox from the hyper-realistic first-person games that I normally frequent.
Jamie O’Neill, Staff Writer
With the excitement surrounding the upcoming PlayStation Network retro remakes, I’m playing classic Mega Drive titles Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Strider. I’ve been scouring through the boxes and instruction art work, because Japanese Mega Drive illustrations are a pleasure to scrutinise.

This weekend I'll be jumping and probably cursing my way through Cloudberry Kingdom's relentlessly unforgiving platforming for Push Square's incoming review. In order to wind down from the indie game's brutality, I'll likely be continuing to rack up my KO count in Dynasty Warriors 8, in which I'm desperately trying to unlock the remaining hypothetical routes of the story. I can't wait to see how some elements branch out differently.
That's us, but what about you lot? Don’t forget to dive into the comments section and let us know what you’re playing – we read every reply. No, honest, we do.

Going to play little bit of Payday The Heist.
Playing the last of us. A little over halfway, I think...
My backlog has increased exponentially this past month, so I'll try beating Stealth Inc, Alice Madness Returns, maybe Gods Eater Burst too.
Metro Last light, which is an enjoyable romp.
I'm gonna finish of Liberty City Stories on my Vita, I mean you have to have GTA on your Vita, and then I'm going to go trophy hunting in LBP Vita. I'll also be praying that I get selected for the Mercenary Beta.
I'm actually starting FUEL all over again............seeing all the crew gameplay videos made me want to play a huge open world racing game. I remember it on my 360 was a lot of fun spending hours getting to the new hubs.
it was $6 at gamestop lol
Just started Muramasa in preparation for Dragons Crown.
Just going to be playing World of Warcraft and Earthbound this weekend.
Saints Row 3. Also playing Deus Ex: The Fall on iPad. Good stuff.
Zombie Tycoon 2, Playstation Allstars and Ratchet and Clank Full Frontal Assault.
Too much Online Multiplayer goodness for my own good.
dynasty warriors strikeforce and zero escape 2
Playing the Cave and going back to Dreamcast days with Jet Set Radio.
I'm sapping my workplace's productivity playing Rymdkapsel right now. When I get home though I'm going right back to Persona 4 Arena and maybe some Skyrim if I somehow get bored of losing every last online match.
I've started a new franchise in Madden 13. I haven't seen any sports fans so I thought I'd represent..
Just downloaded Tekken: Revolution a few days ago and find it pretty good so I'll be playing a lot of that. And some Injustice as well since new Star Lab missions came out for it.
I was playing Dark Souls but I give up, that game is just too difficult. It's not that I cant beat it but I just don't have the patience, and some of the later boss fights are so hard that it takes away all the fun out the game. So now I need to find something else to play.
Still playing Tekken Revolution. Really hate the game, though. But continue to play, because it gives some real emotions =). Real joy from winning, real anger from losing. LOL... Never felt so much fun from any other on-line game, except Phantasy Star On-line, maybe. LOL
Rainbow Moon and more Rainbow Moon. I'm hooked...
i started playing Assassin's Creed 3 again, trying to liberate all the citys and do the benedict arnold missions and i have also been messing around on Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 and One Piece Pirate Warriors (looking forward to Warriors 2 ^_^ )
Played some of the first Resistance game for the first time. Still holds up pretty well, especially after I remapped the button layout. Too bad it doesn't have trophies, though.
Also playing some old Genesis-era titles on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collction on PS3, specifically trying to beat the Puyo Puyo game (Dr MeanBean...) to get the gold trophy, but having a heck of a time with it--it's tougher than it looks.
And still playing quite a bit of Toro's Friend Network--up to level 322 or something now. I think I have a couple of friend spots open if you're interested in bein' my friend: jgrangervikings1.
Also, I live a couple of blocks away from Minnesota Vikings training camp, so it's fun seeing the players up close.
I'm playing Sly 1 on PS3. It looks and plays really well for a PS2 game.
Playing DMC Devil May Cry...and baffled frankly. It is possibly one of the most underrated games of all time. It is amazing in just about every single way. Amazing combat, remarkable environments and setpieces, truly fun boss battles, a mad story that keeps your attention through the cut scenes and possibly the most style of any game I've ever played. This game sold horribly and that is insane and sad, because a next gen sequel would have made the top of my must buy list along side Uncharted 4 and GTA 6. I really think it has that much value. It's superb. This will hit the bargain bin way too soon and people picking it up for $13.50 at eb/gamestop will experience their jaw dropping over and over at the value they got. Too bad the devs didn't get their due respect. This game is pre-order/first day buy caliber.
@Wesker played through all the Sly games earlier this year, they really were worth the time. Something cool about that nostalgic platform action. Also, if
you care about it, some of the easiest platinum trophies you'll ever get, especially the early games. In fact, part 1 is almost hard not to platinum of you have completionist tendencies.
@Gamer83 - For a F2P game I thought it was pretty good. I never got in to the online since I suck at fighting games but I enjoyed the SP.
@Visiblemode Yeah I was looking through my Plus backlog and thought I'd give it a shot. It's just really fun and feels good to play. I doubt I'll get platinum as it takes a really special game to make me care about that stuff, plus reasonably doable of course. So far I only have Uncharted 2 and Far Cry 3 plats.
@Wesker You'd be surprised. It's one of the few games that's hard not to platinum. The only extra effort is in collecting all the bottles and getting all the items, but it comes very easily and is good light fun imo.
FFIX and P4G. Maybe some Ab'es or Metal Slug. Vita weekend.
Something REALLY fun.
@Gemuarto
Is it the gameplay that you hate or more the business model? I have some friends who love Tekken but won't play this game because they don't care for free-to-play and the way many companies handle it.
@Splat
Yeah, I wish the game was a little more full featured, a story mode would've been cool, but it's a free game and from a gameplay perspective this is Tekken at its best. I was pleasantly surprised by this release, if more free-to-play games were this good I wouldn't rag on them as much. Maybe this can serve as an example for developers who plan to put these kind of games on PS4 and X1.
@Gamer83 - Yeah, a more in-depth story mode and a bigger roster of fighters would have been great.
I don't know if there are any plans for more fighters via DLC or not?
Getting Mortal Kombat not to long ago has got me back in to fighting games after not playing them in forever.
I only have Mortal Kombat,Tekken Revolution and King of Fighters XIII but I plan to get Injustice sometime.
I started to download Super Street Fighter 4 but the 18 GB's of space put and end to that. I got the space but that is alot to be taking up by a genre I like but don't love.
@Splat
I'm guessing they'll probably have DLC characters. Honestly I'd pay $10 for a good story mode if the developers want to add one. NetherRealms' efforts have changed how I look at fighters a little bit. Both Mortal Kombat and Injustice have great story modes considering the genre.
@ajaychitown just go online for some guides. It's worth beating.
Mass Effect 2 and Heavy Rain this week. Almost done with Mass Effect 2, can't wait to get to Mass Effect 3.
I just got a wii u so playing zombi u, and some stealth inc on vita.
I played God of War Ascension, Project X Zone and SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked.
@Gamer83 Both.
