Ace side-scrolling animal simulation Tokyo Jungle is set to get a PlayStation Mobile spin-off in Japan later this month, reports Siliconera. The farm-fresh digital download – teased in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine – will supposedly adopt an isometric perspective, and will subsequently play differently to its PlayStation 3 counterpart. We’re sure that the silly sense of humour and survival mechanics will remain intact, though.
According to the site, the game’s due out on 10th July in the land of the rising sun, and will retail at a promotional price of ¥300 (~$3). The price will then be increased to ¥600 (~$6) shortly after launch. There’s no word on a western release just yet, but given the popularity of PlayStation C.A.M.P.’s post-apocalyptic adventure, we fully expect it to sniff its way overseas soon.

I'd love it if they put the original on the VITA, but I can also see how it'd make playing more difficult, because a much smaller screen means the less you can see and in this type of game that means death.
You can remote play the original, works fine on Vita screen.
I need a vita version
@jeccross Seriously? Will it work if Tokyo Jungle is under my old PSN account, and my VITA is under my new one? Cool, I have to try this out-- thanks!!!
I think so, you should be able to play TJ under the same account as your vita once its installed on ps3.
