Ever since we wore plimsolls and Donkey Kong shirts with a smile (sorry, we didn’t know any better back then), we’ve promised ourselves that we’ll one day work in an office where there’s a ping-pong table. We haven’t quite realised that dream yet, but if we keep cranking out quality stories like this one, we’re sure that we’ll make it one day, right? Actually, don't answer that.
Of course, one workplace that does have a ping-pong table is Media Molecule. The Guildford-based developer is behind some of the biggest PlayStation games, so it’s only fitting that it should have access to the latest and greatest lunch time leisure innovations – like space shuttles made entirely out of cardboard.
This behind-the-scenes tour of the studio’s headquarters is actually a really interesting glimpse at the working environment of one of the UK’s most talented outfits. It also includes a bunch of new Tearaway footage, which is always able to put a spring in our step – until we remember that we don’t have a ping-pong table, at least.

One of my most anticipated games this year. I've been a big papercrafter myself, so I'll love this!
@irken004 It does look legitimately incredible. Amazing to think that this is being worked on by a tiny team within Media Molecule. I can't wait to see what the full team's working on.
Best thing about this video: some of those people in the background are probably working on their PS4 game.
