Assuming that you’re the type of person that loves to jabber on about unsigned indie bands rather than the latest Lady GaGa hit – it’s pretty good, by the way – BigFest should be your mug of homebrew. Leaked earlier in the year, and announced during the platform holder’s GamesCom press conference, the PlayStation Vita title blends Bullfrog with the X-Factor.
Using a database of real artists, you’ll need to construct the ultimate music festival in order to help them to hit the big time. That means arranging portaloos, constructing glamorous glamping sites, and hiring hot dog vans. It’s essentially Theme Park – but with more vomit and wellington boots. Who could resist?
Impressively, there’ll be an online component, too, which will allow you to visit your friends’ festivals and sour the mood with Tulisa-style kerfuffles. There’s no word on a release date just yet, but we’re already chomping at the bit to get our hands on this. We’re big fans of business simulation games, so this is a headline act for us.

Im in love
So who are the included artists? Anyone from the 70s?
@ObviouslyAdachi They're real indie bands from some kind of social network site (not sure which). Don't expect Thin Lizzy to put in an appearance!
@get2sammyb Oh ok. I'll still give this one a look.
This could be something special, hopefully it will include a option to throw bottles of wee at sineade o'connor, and if I catch any chavs stealing from decent peoples tents ........
This could be an awesome to find some awesomely awesome music.
Or awful music.
Blah
@SuperSilverback You can just make the awful bands play at a rubbish festival without any people. Pure catharsis.
@get2sammyb I like the sound of that way more than i should
This one has me intrigued, being the sucker for unsigned indie bands that I am.
