If you’d hoped that Sony’s big GamesCom press conference would bring more information regarding The Order: 1886, then you may want to put your anticipation on ice. Sony Santa Monica has revealed that the game is going “dark” following its E3 2013 announcement. “The most that you may see is likely the same trailer from E3 mixed in a PlayStation 4 promo,” the company said.
For those unaware, the God of War developer is collaborating with Ready at Dawn on the game. Aside from being set in an alternate history London, we still don’t know a whole lot about the exclusive – well, other than that we want it. There had been rumours that the title would re-emerge in Germany this week, but it looks like those were inaccurate.

At least thats one exclusive we already know about thats not going to be shown. Leaves more time for Sony to show something new Gotta take the positives from the negatives...
Noo, one of my most anticipated title
aw I was hopeing for some more info on this game but still it leaves room for sony to announce something new
News for sammyb killzone mercenary beta EU /AU now 22th of August
@Sanquine Thanks for the heads up.
That's disappointing, but at least we know it won't be shown - it's better than us getting our jimmies rustled because we didn't get this info ahead of time.
That is disappointing news. Didn't expect it to come out anytime soon, but was hoping to at least hear some new info or see a new trailer.
Argh, that's a shame.
Not bothered, im hoping to hear more about unknown exclusives, maybe some deep down and they need to market remote play on the Vita because im desperate to get a Vita, just waiting to hear if its going to price drop or bundle with PS4.
Anyone else think MS have messed up again by announcing the lame Fable game and closing the doors on there conf and not live streaming it! Bunch of tools!
@DirectAim Deep Down is being saved for TGS, I believe. I don't think we'll see a "big" game akin to Fable during Sony's press conference, but we will likely see lots of smaller ones.
This seems odd at the last minute. Oh well, I'm sure there is a good reason.
LIES LIES LIES It will be there! Please? Pretty please? I want to believe!
@DirectAim Yeah, I just read about that an hour or so ago. They're really going out of their way to avoid negativity, first they disabled comments of thene reveal video on YouTube and now this.
Once again they're playing right into Sony's hands and the best part about it is that Sony did nothing to make them do this, it was done of their own volition.
Uh-oh, I hope this doesn't turn into vaporware like Sadness for Wii. I was looking forward to that one and then it just disappeared.
@grenworthshero Nah, it won't. They're just not showing it at GamesCom is all.
One of the first games I pre-ordered for the PS4. Hopefully, no news is good news.
