Prepare to fall in love with Auldnoir all over again, as Sony has dropped some serious hints that Gravity Rush 2 is in development. The platform holder played a short teaser at its Tokyo Game Show booth overnight, showing acrobatic protagonist Kat flying around. However, most importantly, the trailer closed with the words, “A new project from Team Gravity”. That sure sounds like a sequel to us.
The original Gravity Rush was produced by Silent Hill director Keiichirō Toyama’s underrated Project Siren team, but it sounds like the critical and commercial success of the Japan Studio subsidiary’s PlayStation Vita adventure – and the quiet decay of the overlooked Siren series – may have prompted the group to change its name.
According to Famitsu, the teased title is in production for the PlayStation Vita, so you won’t be seeing Kat’s luscious locks rendered on the PlayStation 4 just yet. Still, we absolutely adored the original adventure, so we can’t wait to learn a little more about the sequel. Are you ready to have your world turned upside down? Let us know in the comments section below.
Update: Sony's deployed the abovementioned teaser trailer online. You can watch it through here.

Its good to see its being developed for the Vita. While Ive not got around to finishing the original yet, Its definitely one of the better games on the Vita
This game definitely deserves a sequel, a lot of fun and the fans need to know all the plot holes and loose ends that were never quite answered.
Good news! or wait I would have liked a New Siren type game hmmmm I don't know how to feel
@8vpiper I love Siren, too, but at the moment I think I'd take a new Gravity Rush. The original was so refreshing.
I am still working my way through the original but that is fantastic news. The game has a big following and it could grow if the do the sequel right.
Great news.
