BioShock Infinite’s first major add-on pack Burial at Sea will plunge to the murky depths of Rapture next month, publisher 2K Games has confirmed. The soggy expansion will plot the return of protagonists Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth, albeit in an alternate timeline that’s sure to leave you with a furrowed brow by the time that you reach its conclusion.
The content’s set to be divided into two episodes with the first due out on 12th November. In the inaugural instalment, you’ll play as the male half of the double-act, as Andrew Ryan’s underwater dystopia begins to unravel. The second chapter will see you assume the luscious locks of the aforementioned thimble-wearing damsel, though there’s no date attached to that just yet.
In terms of gameplay tweaks, the new add-on will include a fresh Plasmid – the chill-inducing Old Man Winter power-up – in addition to the return of the series' famous weapon wheel. Developer Irrational Games also claims that it has overhauled the title’s artificial intelligence in order to bring it closer to the original release.
The expansion will cost you £9.99/$14.99 on its own, or you’ll be able to purchase it as part of the game’s Season Pass for £15.99/$19.99. Seeing as you also get the second episode and the previously released Clash in the Clouds with the latter, we recommend plumping up for the pseudo-subscription service.

I though Bioshock 1 & 2 were great, as was Minerva's Den. Infinite, I found quite over-rated however. Rapture was far more interesting a location for me than Columbia, so I'm really looking forward to seeing a new take on the city.
This seems great but I have to put it on the back burner because of the other games coming out soon. I'm hoping for a PS4 GOTY edition sometime in the early to middle part of 2014..
