NetherRealm Studios’ likeable superhero dust up Injustice: Gods Among Us is swopping onto the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita, publisher Warner Bros has announced. The re-release will deploy on 12th November in North America and 29th November in Europe, and will include the original game alongside all of its downloadable content. That’s an offering valued at around $120, according to the optimistic company.
The next generation iteration is being produced by The Conduit developer High Voltage Software, and will include touchpad functionality and video sharing. Meanwhile, the portable instalment is being worked on by Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate creator Armature, and will include touch minigames, collectible hero cards, and more.
As excited as we are to see the brawler expand to two additional PlayStation platforms, it does seem unnervingly early to be releasing an Ultimate Edition of the game. The title only debuted on the PS3 in April, making this re-release seem a smidgen premature. Still, with no fighters available in the PS4’s launch lineup, we suppose that it will fill a hole. Let’s just hope that the port’s up to scratch.

Yes! Glad a Vita version is official. And I'm glad it's November, the sooner the better.
@Gamer83 Yeah, I'm pretty excited about this. Scarily, I'm quite tempted to buy it on PS4 and Vita — meaning I'll have bought it three times...
I'll consider the PS4 version myself, but I'm concerned about that port. High Voltage isn't exactly a great studio.
@Gamer83 Yeah, I've just been reading about that. Hopefully they do a good job because the PS4 needs a fighter at launch, and this is a good one. The Vita version should be safe with Armature as they're awesome.
@get2sammy How good is it? I love DC but when I see this I think of DC Vs Mortal Kombat which was very bad (in my opinion!)
@ZeD
It's awesome and actually much different to MK vs. DC. This has a very 'DC' feel to it and the gameplay isn't exactly like MK. It has MK elements but also borrows very well from Street Fighter.
@ZeD I actually liked MK vs. DC, but @Gamer83 is right in that it feels very different. We reviewed it here, but in short it's got a great story mode, tons of content, awesome special moves, and is very fun to play. It's not got the depth of Street Fighter IV, but it's just flashy fun.
@get2sammyb @Gamer83 Might have to stick a version of this on my rental list! Might wait for the PS4 version....
Or could we see the PS3 version come to the IGC? Hmm
@ZeD
For a DC fan it's worth a playthrough for story mode alone. Hopefully you'll enjoy what they did with gameplay as well.
@Gamer83 I am sure there is a prequel is comic form? I am a bit behind on the comics at the moment. This is what you get for having a child lol :/
@ZeD
There are comics, not sure if they're considered prequels though.
In my opinion MK is the best fighter on Vita, I will definately be picking this up on Vita.
Sweet, I might have to get this for PS4 and some point as I never picked it up for Wii U.
Well thats good to know. I have it on Wii U but now I think I might trade it in for this version on the PS4.
@get2sammyb i know the feeling, i myself bought a single game a few times before. numorous sonic games, and a few others including BioShock 1. PC, Xbox 360 (before it RRoD now im Sony Only with Nintendo on the Side) and PS3 version, with BioShock Infinite.
