Time flies when you’re having fun. It doesn’t feel like a day since we started our ‘What Are You Playing This Weekend’ series, but it’s been almost eight months. While the past few editions have been a teensy bit slow due to the sunny summer weeks, though, we suspect that proceedings are about to get a smidgen more exciting, as the release calendar begins to refill with hotly anticipated games. Let's get started, shall we?

What am I playing this weekend? I suppose I can say that Ellen Page is in it, but I should probably stop before I get gagged by Sony’s very best ninjas. Elsewhere, I’m quite curious about that Flashback remake, but I’m not expecting it to be very good. We’ll see...

I've fallen passionately in love with Dragon's Crown and its stunning art direction, so I'll be spending my weekend wrapped in its silky embrace. When I'm not delving into the depths of picturesque dungeons, I'll be trying to advance through Grand Theft Auto Online, although I'm a little bit disappointed by the lack of co-op content that's available at launch.

With some patience, I was eventually able to get some time with Grand Theft Auto Online the other night, and it was fantastic fun. If the servers hold, that'll be my obsession over the weekend.
Ben Potter, Video Editor
I’ll probably be spending time with Grand Theft Auto Online's character creation suite this weekend, as I'm consistently kicked back to single player and my character deleted. Here's hoping that the servers are a little more stable this weekend.

I'm taking a leisurely 500 mile round-trip drive to Dorset this weekend, so it's portable gaming at service stations all the way for me. Thank goodness for PSone games on the PlayStation Vita, because I'll happily reminisce about the heyday glory period of Psygnosis, and take a break from the M5 by zipping around steeply banked tracks in anti-gravity WipEout races. Roads? Where we're going, we don't need flat, straight roads.

My aim for this weekend is to bite off a large portion of Dishonored as a ninja. That all-stealth Trophy would look good in my digital cabinet, so I’m steeling myself for a torrent of rage quits as I slowly traipse through Dunwall.

I didn't manage to get much time to play any games this week, so I'm hoping to get reacquainted with Grand Theft Auto V over the coming days. I've currently completed 30 per cent of the campaign, but, to be honest, I enjoy exploring the streets more than the missions.
That microphone in front of your face – that’s your cue to start sharing your gaming agenda with the rest of the Push Square readership. What are you playing this weekend? Let us know, as always, in the comments section below.

Castle of Illusion!!
I'm surprised that you guys haven't done a review for this game yet. So far I think it's quite awesome and a bit of a shame that it didn't get the publicity that DuckTales got for its release.
GTA Online when it let's me... Other than that nothing really, just waiting for Beyond Two Souls!
FF A Realm Reborn, GTA 5. I would like to play Wind Waker HD, but im not going to get into that, I dont want to get into rant mode and get myself introuble. Lesson on the week, pre-order really early. I also get to play a game called let the WiiU go unplayed another week and let the dust take over.
Cleaning up whatever GTA V single player stuff I have left (not much). Then probably gonna finally start GOW:Ascension, while it has remaining wow factor pre-next gen. However, I better play fast, because Beyond: two souls is coming on tuesday!
BF4 beta. Otherwise a lot of PC and 3DS games.
I will finish (all) Virtue's Last Reward on Vita and play some Rhythm Thief on 3DS.
PS4
I just picked up Flashback, haven't played it yet. I've been spending my time playing KoA and Xcom:Enemy Unknown.
The Last of Us, Diablo 3, GTA 5, BF4 beta, KZ:M, Rayman Origins, and that's just for PlayStation brand stuff. : )
@photofool83 Agreed! Game is very fun and a true remake for the original Genesis game. I'm playing Castle of Illusion and Puppeteer with the kids. Two very great games that deserve a lot of praise and sales IMHO.
@-CraZed- @photofool83 We're still trying to track down a code. It slipped through the net a bit, but hasn't been forgotten.
Going to be playing GTA V and World of Warcraft this weekend.
GTA V I am working on some of the single player stuff think I might look into buying properties.
On World of Warcraft I have a driud that I want to hit max level with by the end of the weekend.
I dusted off my PS2 and started a new game of Persona 3: FES. Can't beat persona...
PS Vita: Killzone Mercenaries (now that I FINALLY got a 32gb memory card and could download the 1gb update, which by the way people, are available at Best Buy for $45)
Wii U: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (now that I FINALLY have a friend to play with online and show me the ropes- it's a high barrier of entry but damn is this game amazing once you learn how to play)
3DS: Mario & Luigi Dream Team (now that I FINALLY upgraded to an XL and don't need to zoom the map in all the time)
I managed to beat Catherine on Friday. Game was very great and amazingly satisfying to play through. Now my attention turns back to Persona 4, Diablo 3, Final Fantasy Tactics, and hopefully actually finishing cleanup of the latest chapter of my small RPG Maker game @_@.
@odd69 The best part about that game is that you get to brag to everyone about your "rare grey Wii U," though seeing as no one I know who has one actually plays it, maybe white and black Wii U's are getting scarcer? @JaxonH Seriously? Are all Best Buy's doing this? I'm thinking it'd be a good present.
I'm playing Kingdom Hearts ReMix 1.5 HD! The game is so mesmerizing I've abandoned everything else and I'm focusing on completing the entire game. It's the first major Kingdom Hearts I've played since Birth By Sleep on the PSP. I am hoping that Square Enix will release a Kingdom Hearts game on the PS Vita in the future.
@Cloud7794, Is Catherine a good game? I wasn't sure if I should buy the game or not because I was hoping Catherine would be just like the Persona games but I was afraid it might have X-Rated content cuz the cover looked so very bra falling down suggestive. The trailer for the game looks really neat and Catherine seems to be like Persona and I'm asking because I want to pick it up on Monday when I go to buy Bayonetta for the PS3.
@Lionhart Personally, I really enjoyed the game. The demo is on PSN if you want to try it. The game is obviously a bit more mature in its content, but isn't x-rated in any way (I'd be shocked if Atlus made such a game these days). The game is a romance-puzzle-horror-murder mysteryish game that does its job well.
As far as Persona likeness, the only thing that may be similar is that you're basically playing through the game strengthening one of two social links and whichever one is stronger, as well as choices you make end-game, determines which one of 8 endings you get. The puzzles are very challenging, but never to the point of being impossible, and the feeling of finally solving a particularly difficult section and continuing up the tower to complete a level is very rewarding.
Thankfully there isn't any blatant nudity: the game has some parts at which a character (or characters) on screen is naked, but not completely on-screen (example: Catherine can be obviously naked but the camera shows her from the shoulders up). This isn't broken throughout the game, so you don't have to worry about that. There are also no sex scenes in the game, though sex is discussed often by the characters. They mostly talk about it in that it happens though, nothing really explicit comes up aside from one character who isn't even as dirty-mouthed as what you'd hear in a typical US high school. I do know that sometimes a text message you receive can have a picture attachment, but looking at those is optional. I only saw one though and it was suggestive enough that I didn't bother opening an image attachment from that number again. Still, no nudity.
Overall the game was great: it really challenges you and is best played by going through your first playthrough being completely honest with your decisions, seeing how you end up, then replaying for trophies.
@Cloud7749, Thanks so very much. I'm certainly going to pick up Catherine at GameStop. I'm really grateful to know that it isn't X-Rated in tonality. Most good M rated games like Borderlands, Assassin's Creed III, CastleVania Lords of Shadow and Bayonetta are typically on the same level as a PG-13 movie and that's a good thing; but I just wanted to ask so I'd be safe rather than sorry. I really liked the Sheep level of Catherine that I saw in a preview video on IGN.com and it seemed humorous too. I love anime style which reminded me a lot of Persona4Golden. So far, I've been rather slow on heading to the store because I'm trying to budget myself as Christmas is just around the corner and I'm trying to buy smartly. I've already decided against buying the PS4 and waiting until next year's Black Friday to pick it up. Instead, I'm satisfied with the PS3 and my beloved PS Vita. Also gonna pick up that sweet WiiU Zelda Wind Waker bundle.
@Cloud7794 Yeah they marked them down to $65, plus they have a My Gamers Club promo right now (free membership, I'd recommend joining to anyone) for $20 off a 32gb Vita memory card. Go online and order, then select store pickup (sold out online). It should give you a list of all stores in a certain radius, and whether or not they have any left in stock. Only 2 of the 12 stores listed for me had them in stock, luckily one was only 20 miles away, and between where my mom lives and Milwaukee. I put her down as the person picking it up, and had her swing by to grab it on her way home from work.
Diablo III - absolutely love it! And belatedly got PixelJunk Monsters for the vita...
Well this weekend I played a lot of God of War: Ascension and I also played Rayman Legends and The Wonderful 101, both on the Wii U.
