Guerrilla Games was unlikely to ever disappoint in the visuals department, as the Dutch developer is arguably one of the most technologically proficient outfits in the industry. Nevertheless, some people felt that Killzone: Shadow Fall was a bit of a letdown back at E3 2013 in June. That’s certainly doesn't appear to be the case anymore, though.
Embedded below is five minutes of gameplay from the Igromir Expo in Moscow, which shows off the title’s forest stage in its current guise. Improvements over the demo that we played earlier in the year are plentiful, including the addition of moving mist, object based blur, and more. There’s a spot of tearing here and there, but we’d expect that to be fixed prior to release.
Alright, it’s off-screen footage so it’s hard to get the full impact – but we reckon that the fog in particular is a gorgeous addition that really adds to the atmosphere, even in this low quality clip. Expect the futuristic first-person shooter to be the prettiest title available for your shiny new PlayStation 4 come launch. Are you planning to pick it up? Let us know in the comments section below.

Its impressive how much Sony's games continue to improve leading up to launch. I doubt anyone will be dissapointed with the visuals when the Ps4 lands.
I really can't wait for this game. I'm thinking this will be the day one game to get.
Here's my first world problems:
I keep telling my GF how amazing PS4 is going to look. She said, "I'm excited to see how good it will look compared to your PS3 games". I've been playing Beyond... it looks like a PS4 game.... FFFFFUUUUUUUU
I-It's so beautiful.
Nice.
Looks amazing - can't wait!
On a side note... anyone else tend to feel a little bit sick when watching other people play FPS? Kinda like motion sickness, but I don't get it when I play, only when watching someone else.
The visuals in this game doesn't surprise me one bit. In my opinion KillZone has always been one of the most graphically impressive games and overall a well rounded FPS. This is the game I'm most looking foward to of all the launch lineup because i know for a fact it won't disappoint.
Honestly KZ always looks good. This one is no different. That said, it's not on my day one list. If anything I'll wait to pick it up later used or on PS+.
I really think the only way I'm getting this day 1 is if the US gives us a real bundle like EU.
I just got the Trilogy for $30 (awesome) and KZ1 is kicking my ass. It's obviously ps2 era (R3 toggles zoom? no 'hold' option even if remapped to L1 like a normal game??), but it plays just as well as Mercenaries in most regards. Can't wait for 2 and 3, which should (along with pokemon) occupy just about a month. It's gonna be downright fabulous looking, you can already tell... : )
@charlesnarles Most KZ games are pretty difficult in certain sections, even on normal. Mercenaries was the first one I've played that seemed easy on normal. Gotta love the stealth function
Phwoar. I can't wait to play this on launch day.
@get2sammyb LOL! Nice GIF! Game looks awesome. Getting it on launch day!
It doesn't surprise me at all, as time goes on PS4 games are going to look unreal. You can already see a big step up between Killzone4 & any PS3 game, you also have to remember on the PS4 thay'll also be using techniques that you just couldn't do on the PS3.
it does look nice, hmm i guess i just may get this at launch. I'll have FF online free at launch and i want a FPS,so this seems to be the choice
