Beautiful not-quite Nintendo Wii U exclusive Rayman Legends is set to hop onto the PlayStation 4 in February, publisher Ubisoft has announced. The port was nonchalantly unveiled by head-honcho Yves Guillemot during a drab financial call earlier today, in which he merely mentioned that the platformer is heading to “next-gen” consoles. The company has since confirmed that that includes Sony’s impending super system.
It’s hard to imagine how much prettier this could look on the PS4, with the title already running in 1080p at a blistering 60 frames-per-second on the manufacturer’s current generation machine. Still, if you missed out on it the first time around, then you’ll now have a second opportunity to assume the role of the leading limbless hero. And if you’ve already played it – well, you know that you want to nab those Lums all over again, huh? Oui, oui.

Was going to get the Vita version during a Christmas sale, I may wait now though. If it's virtually the same experience, since the DualShock4 has a touchpad, I'd rather play the game on an HDTV.
Now one of the games i will buy for my PS4 (which i will buy next year).
Well I planned to buy this one last February for the Wii U but since Ubisoft went and decided to move the release date to the same month as GTA V I had to pass this one over. Might pick it up now for the PS4.
I have rayman on the megadrive and I don't see this as an improvement so i'll pass.
I wonder if it will be a PS4 launch title in Japan, and if that will help it sell any copies on the PS4. I think it sold about 13 copies in Japan on the Wii U the week it launched.
I always wanted the 'press a button to Murfy' version. Now I can have it.
I wonder if thay'll let you upgrade?
Great news, such a fantastic game.
