Your attention may be firmly fixed on Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack right now, but it’s worth remembering that there’s a bevy of indie titles set to launch alongside the PlayStation 4 later this week. One such adventure is indie dig-‘em-up Super Motherload, which is currently sharpening its spade in anticipation for Friday’s deployment.
The game sees you take control of a mining machine, which allows you to dig into Mars’ crust in order to collect gems and precious minerals. Sell these items at the surface and you’ll be able to purchase upgrades for your vehicle, allowing you to dig even deeper into the planet’s dusty core.
Unsurprisingly, the title’s running at 60 frames-per-second in 1080p on Sony’s next generation super machine, and includes DualShock 4 touch gestures in order to enable you to cycle through different explosives. The release also boasts an amazing eighties soundtrack, as evidenced in the trailer embedded below. Are you planning to scoop this one up? Drill into the comments section to let us know.

Didn't really get on with this during my hands on the other week so Ill probably pass on it. I don't think the build I played made use of the touchpad though so It may be worth another look at some point as I was clearly on an older build
Umm, are they making a pun by intentionally misspelling "mother lode"? Like, is your mom helping you? Is she directing your mining operation? What load of what things has to do with my or anyone else's mother? Jw lol
my most anticipated of the indie stuff at launch.
I've played this for hours on Miniclip, it's so much fun! Though multiplayer... I just don't know
