This game is heating up

The PlayStation 4 is irrefutably a graphical powerhouse, and no game demonstrates that better than the achingly gorgeous Deep Down. The trailer debuted at the next generation system's reveal in February remains one of the most convincing arguments for the console's sheer horsepower. However, a recent post on the Capcom Facebook page proves that there's a lot more to the title than just pretty graphics.

In news that will surely send would-be dungeon crawlers into a fit of excitement, the Japanese publisher has announced that the free-to-play offering will be able to randomly generate an infinite number of dungeons to explore and plunder. The developer's utilised an "include as intended" design feature, ensuring that the generation process is entirely random. It will also mean that treasures and monsters will be strategically placed within its labyrinthine corridors so as not to leave any empty rooms or completely dead ends.

Now all Capcom has to do is announce how it intends to monetise the role-playing adventure, and we can determine exactly how excited we are. Will you be picking up Deep Down when it deploys, or is free-to-play not your style? Deep Drown us with your opinions in the comments section below.
