The PS Vita TV has been out in the wild for a few weeks now, and its performance has been lacklustre to say the least. As if in answer, Sony has released a brand new commercial to try and pitch the diminutive streaming box to families. The advertisement traces one family's journey through the eyes of its small screen, and essentially postulates that the system will bring you and your relatives together while also saving television. In truth, the commercial does a fun job of demonstrating the device's appeal, and also rocks a pretty mean soundtrack. Here's hoping that it'll help boost those unimpressive sales figures.
What do you make of Sony's advertising tactic for the miniscule machine? Do you think that the Japanese giant will use a similar campaign when bringing the micro-console to Western markets? Stream your thoughts in the comments section below.

I liked it. I don't think it shows much about the Vita Tv, they didnt even hook it up to the tv, it's not completely wireless is it? Can't go wrong w/ Sephiroth though. He would have single handedly saved PSASBR if he were the final boss.
OK, I did learn something, it's packaged w a DS3. That makes sense. I like the white, makes it look like the original gray DS from my original PS. And this seems to be more about accessing the PSN than vita games. I'm nt sure if there were any Vita games in that video but there sure was a lot of stuff turning thei rtv into a smart tv.
OK, now I want one.
