If you've been affected by Battlefield 4's rather unstable multiplayer on PlayStation 4, you'll be happy to know that a patch is marching your way to provide support. The update, which includes a number of stability and balance fixes, will hopefully put an end to some of the crippling bugs and glitches that have been plaguing the shooter's online component.
On top of the somewhat vague "various fixes for improving general stability" patch note, the update promises to end an issue with players spawning beneath the Lancang Dam map, and will strive to fix a problem with allies' friendly markers, which should stop you pumping lead into your nearest team member in confusion. You can take a gander at the full patch notes through here.
Have your biggest problems been eliminated? Or will you still be left bleeding out on the battlefield? Radio for backup in the comments section below.

I've had BF4 since launch (PS4), and have played it once online. I haven't even tried the single player campaign yet, as there are still reports of the save file corrupting. Waste of money so far - I'll play it when they've fixed it.
Just crashed to the title screen after trying to join a conquest match. This game is garbage, time to cut my losses.
Good thing ive got the ps3 version. Apart from the odd crash its fine. Like BF3
I bought this before the PS4 came out on the Target B2G1 sale, and it's still shrink wrapped. Hopefully this patch makes me want to play it without worry.
This is most likely last Battlefield purchase ever.
its so annoying and infuriating.
Let's hope planetside 2 is similar but actually works
Although I like the modern weapons more so than futuristic.
Outside of the initial server issues around launch I have no t had any issues with this game. This has been the most enjoyable multiplayer FPS I've ever played.
I really enjoy the game but I'm sick of being booted out in the middle of a match. It's happened numerous times and it always seems to happen when I'm playing my best.. Why Dice, why?!
@KAPADO @Cowboysfan-22 @GooRoo @Paranoimia me too, and I'm level 25. It's finicky, but it's playable for sure. I'm sure not gonna not play it out if principle after I already bought it. I admit I've used the F word in one of my error report comments, but they're trying hard to make it not suck so bad so we should just keep reporting and let them finish cooking it. If nothing else it's a good lesson about how to make 5 better!
I've had BF4 since I posted about the bugs on here, haven't had any problems like some seem to have so I cannot complain.
@charlesnarles I am enjoying it, but its the times I had a killer game that I get booted for server issues. It's like the EA God's are moving me.
Lol,thought I was the only one to lose my mind on those write reports.
It started off with a normal friendly report the first time. Then a come on guys to F#@& you guys.
@KAPADO Personally Im over-saturated with modern war-settings, thus Im enjoying Killzone a lot. I've been playing Planetside 2 quite a while on PC and what I can tell you up front is that the battles are MUCH more massive than in any Battlefield, the terran faction is pretty much "modern war" weapons-wise if you prefer them and it will run in ULTRA settings on PS4 (and at that settings on PC it didn't look THAT much worse than BF4). The only thing where Battlefield wins hands-down is controls. They are not AS crisps in Planetside 2, but it has been a while since I played it and it was on PC with mouse and keyboard. Im really hoping for an excellent dual shock 4 adaption. Planning to play it a lot!
I bought Battlefield 4 for PS3 and I'm glad I didn't buy Premium. At least so far anyway. I really was looking forward to this game and when I get a PS4 next month, I'm not sure I want to invest in this game again.
