As far as companion applications go, Yakuza Ishin’s extravagant PlayStation Vita extra may just be the most impressive yet. We outlined late last month that the add-on will allow you to take Ryoma Sakamoto’s historical experience out with you, but this brand new footage shows just how much you’ll be able to do on the handheld device.
It seems that the entire Another Life agricultural component will be available, allowing you to plant, nurture, and prepare Japanese radishes in a bizarre vegetable-based rhythm action minigame. If that seems a little slow paced for your tastes, you’ll be able to solve feudal feuds in a dungeon mode, as well as try your luck in a round of mah-jong or two.
Apparently, you’ll be able to transfer all of your progress to the full PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, allowing you to earn money and increase your level while you’re on the move. In essence, it seems like an evolution of the old VMU concept that SEGA pioneered on the Dreamcast. We just wish that more developers would invest the resources into additional experiences such as this.

Girls are pretty
@Sanquine I knew that would be the first comment!
Awesome, I want. I had a vmu but I never really used it for the mini game stuff. Extra stuff like this is far more appealing than the online multiplayer rubbish.
One of the more original companion apps I have seen. I do hope they westernize this game.
