PS4 is starving for some new AAA games. And it is really insulting to sell game which called like that, now.
Tried Don't Starve, and it is really boring and stupid time killer, if you ask me. I can't understand why someone will play this game.Tokyo Jungle was so much better.
I'll give it a bash if it hits EU store today.
Starving? I've only done NFS, halfway through Shadow Fall SP but loads left to do in MP, scores and trophies to get in Zen, started Trine 2 a few days ago, started playing Warframe, done Resogun but need high scores(!). Don't own CoD, Battlefield, Lego Marvel, Fifa, NBA 2k/EA, Knack, Assassins Creed, Just Dance, Injustice... Still plenty out there for me.
@Gemuarto It hasn't even been out for two months yet. I wish I'd got enough time to play everything - I haven't even took the wrapper off my copy of Injustice yet. /SobStory.
@get2sammyb #firstworldproblems
I'm tempted by Injustice, very tempted. The Vita version looks ugly, and I just got BlazBlue on Plus and already have SFxT for that anyway. It's also the cheapest trade in game going for PS4...hmmmm
Just reading back the thread there, kind of looks like I'm suggesting that Just Dance IS for me...it IS NOT...;-p
@KALofKRYPTON You keep telling yourself that...
@get2sammyb Oh I will! #jazzhands
@get2sammyb @KALofKRYPTON Guys, there were no new big games realeses since launch day, so tell what you want, but it is what it is. And I don't care about sport games and MP in FPS =(. And, to tell you the truth, don't want to play pastgen games and boring F2P on next gen console. So recalling what Gamer83 told about Whatch Dogs and Drive Club delays, I think he was right. I don't mind about developers polishing those games, though. But those delays really made some game vacuum for people who want real nextgen. So it's pretty funny to realese Don't Starve right now =). It's like messege from Sony - be patient =)
What do you consider to be 'real next gen'?
Graphics? That's the only really appreciable 'next gen' thing about Drive Club and Watch Dogs. There are already games that run comparable physics engines and sandbox sizes. GTA V is huge, and there's more than enough physics based racers out there. By your logic, you're moaning about not having 'next gen' games by talking about two delayed games; one of which is a racing game-the classic new console show off because they can only get prettier and an action adventure game that is mostly just Assassin's Creed in a trench coat, but prettier.
Are you expecting your PS4 to suddenly affirm your life with it's 'next gen'ness in a few months?
Also, launch was 2 months ago, 8 weeks...I mean, that's like no time!
I think it's really awesome that Klei is working to bring Don't Starve to the PS Vita.
@Gemuarto I think you're going to have a long year if you feel that way now. Last year was wall-to-wall releases because everyone was just finishing their final PS3 projects. This year is going to be barren, because everyone is just starting their PS4 projects.
@get2sammyb @KALofKRYPTON Wow, you guys are so evil =(.
And I just told that it's funny and insulting to realese Don't Starve now. Eh... Whatever... People are pretty mad this days.
To tell you the truth I never cared to play all those Lego, CoD, BF, AC, NFS series on PS3 and one year old Injustice, too. And when you suggest me to start them on PS4. I really feel that there is games vacuum on PS4. And, for you to know, I'm not accusing, just telling. So stop reacting like I am angry and mad like you. I understand that PS4 is new console and it is always like that with new consoles. Meh.... But that doesn't mean that I can't tell what I think about it.
By nextgen, I mean new IPs and games that were developed with PS4 in mind. I think that Watch Dogs and Drive Club are games like that. And Thief, too, for example. Knack and Killzone are nextgen, too, in my opinion.
@Gemuarto
Insulting? Right.
Look, no one's being evil, but the launch line up and release schedule have been around for a while, yes Watch Dogs Drive Club are delayed, but did you buy a PS4 just for those 2 games?
I will agree with @Gemuarto the launch line up is somewhat lacking but then again tell me a system who's launch line up didn't suck. Still though there are some great games out there like Resogun (There you go @get2sammyb) AC IV and a few others. If you are looking for new IP what about Knack?
Anyway back on track here I might check out Don't Starve I remember @SuperKMx doing a wright up on that one for the PC version of that one on Pure Xbox and it sounded like alot of fun, and since thats free that's an even better reason to check it out.
There seems to be a new set of MP Add-ons for The Last of Us every week... I want the SP DLC!
@KALofKRYPTON Oh, man, I thought that was funny. Had no idea that you and Sammy will start to tell that old story about Injustice and no time to play. I heard it like 1000 times, already =).
I bought PS4 for Knack, Resogun, Contrast and Killzone. And I alredy beat them and want moar nextgen. And with Drive Club and Watch Dogs... waiting for Infamous, Thief, MGS and a lot of other goodies could be so much better =). Not sure about Watch Dogs, though, but at least, it's something new and I like to try it out. If you try to look at PS4 the same eyes you look at PS3. 3 month without 60$ games realeses is really starving =). So everyone will play Tomb Raider, as Square Enix hopes =).
Heh, I think if you have time to play Injustice, you have a lot of time to play. Because I don't have time to play it and those outdated series like BF, CoD, Lego and setera.
@Gemuarto
Can't wait for Feb. and Thief, hope it's good. I just paid it off along with inFamous and MGS V: Ground Zeroes since there's an actual physical copy of MGS that will be available for PS4. Jan. will be slow but at least Feb. and March should be strong. And April as well for me since I like baseball and MLB The Show will be releasing.
By the way I was at GameStop and right now Watch_Dogs isn't even on the list for pre-orders. That can't be good news regarding that game. DriveClub I believe is March so you racing guys can look forward to that.
i like dont starve, its not to shabby
