We’re running out of ways to make these UK sales charts posts interesting. Perhaps we should start talking about the weather, rather than the fact that FIFA 14 has enjoyed its ninth week at the summit of the best sellers list. Anything would be more interesting than a top three that hasn’t changed in over a month, with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 sitting just behind EA Sports’ soccer simulation.
Oh, you’d rather the usual drip-feed of titles? Well, blockbuster LEGO Marvel Super Heroes soared into fourth, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag moored in fifth, and Killzone: Shadow Fall continued its run of good form in seventh. Grand Theft Auto V, Need for Speed: Rivals, and newcomer Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z rounded out the top ten. That was interesting, wasn’t it?
In truth, there may be some bigger changes on the cards soon, as Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is poised to release on Friday. In the mean time, you can peruse the current list of non-movers and shakers through here. Have you picked up any new software of late? Let us know in the comments section below.
