nDreams, the awkwardly named developer behind popular PlayStation Home experience Aurora, is hard at work on a brand new PlayStation 4 title – and as part of a New Year newsletter, it has revealed the very first picture of the game. The shot shows a rickety old set of stairs, which appear to be located in a dimly lit underground location. We’re thinking some form of survival horror adventure, but feel free to send your own suggestions on the back of a postcard.
“I'm sure that some of you are wondering what the mysterious image above is all about?” a company representative wrote. “Well, it has been taken from an early prototype of our newly announced PS4 title. The team are working away at creating an amazing experience and as soon as we can share more information we will.”
There’s been some speculation that the British studio could be collaborating with Sony on its rumoured virtual reality headset – especially seeing as it concocted the quirky SkyDIEving demo for Oculus Rift. Whatever the company’s working on, it’s keeping its cards close to its chest – but it does stress that it can’t wait to reveal all. We must admit that our attention has been piqued.

Looks like a mine entrance?
Looks like generic screenshot that offers no appeal. At least give some details on genre, pr a couple of screens.
Hmm. Looks like there will be stairs...
