The Japanese language barrier can get in the way of a lengthy JRPG, but it's less problematic if you merely want to smash someone's head in. However, it seems that importers will have to wait a little longer for the uniquely named Persona 4 The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold, as fans eagerly awaiting the sequel to Arc System Works' fighting spin-off discovered on a Japanese listing that the title will only work on native consoles.
It's safe to say that this has resulted in plenty of frustration, as there's currently no release date attached to the dust-up in the West. For those out of the loop, the follow up to Persona 4 Arena features a brand new story line set days after the previous escapade, with even more brawlers joining the roster. Followers of the franchise will recognize Yukari Takeba and Junpei Iori from Persona 3, along with the addition of an original fighter. Were you hoping to nab an Eastern copy of this outing? Nope I was planning on waiting for the western release. It is a little frustrating though that Atlus hasn't even given us a timeframe for western releases of this game, Persona Q, or Persona 5. Give us something to work with!
Let's just hope that if it is coming West, then it gets localised a lot quicker than the first game did.
So they doing Region lock yet again... Which means no buy
I just want Western release dates for Persona 5 and Q already, what's taking them so long? lol
You know what that means... It's coming~~~
@ShogunRok Took them only 2 weeks after Japan got the home console versions to bring it to the States, I wonder why it took so long for Europe :/
I'm eagerly awaiting this game though. The first was an amazing fighter that even I honestly thought I could go competitive with. One of the greatest (if not the best) fighters on PS3 currently.
