While the European commercial for inFAMOUS: Second Son depicts a more sombre mood, the title’s television spot in North America aims to paint protagonist Delsin Rowe in the most outrageous light possible. In addition to rowdy punk rock, the trailer shows the hero terrorising various Department of Unified Protection troops – all with an irritating grin plastered across his smug gob.
We’re still a little disappointed that the platform holder hasn’t opted to tie more Nirvana tracks into the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive’s promotional campaign, as the Seattle-based band’s back catalogue would fit the release to a tee. Still, we’re glad that it’s opted to emphasise the title’s outrageous graphics, because let’s be honest, they are the primary selling point.
