Plus one

The fine folks at SCEE appear to have isolated their mole, as the next batch of PlayStation Plus content has remained under wraps for the first time this year. That means that we’re awaiting information from the official channels, and European PlayStation Blog manager Fred Dutton has revealed that details are forthcoming later this week.

In the past, the content lineups have been announced way in advance, but the abovementioned scribe admitted that that won’t be the case moving forwards. “In the interest of full disclosure, for the foreseeable future, you can expect PlayStation Plus games to be announced 5-7 days before they go live,” he explained. “Sorry to keep you folks waiting.”

Two titles that won’t be added to the Instant Game Collection – in Europe, at least – are Payday 2 and Injustice: Gods Among Us. Dutton also ruled out Secret Ponchos as the PlayStation 4 game, which was previously teased as one of the platform’s freebies way back at E3.
