When the PlayStation 4 was first revealed, Sony was quick to show off the system's social features. By pressing a new button on the DualShock 4 controller, the company promised that you'd be able to upload gameplay footage and screenshots to show off your skills. Impressively, in a recent tweet from PlayStation, it has now been revealed that, collectively, you have all pushed that button 100 million times.
In a world where social media updates are as regular as news bulletins, it's no wonder that the feature has resonated so strongly. And given the success, it's even less surprising that Sony has been keen to promote the technology in commercials, with recent adverts for games such as Watch Dogs and Destiny focusing on the nifty functionality.
How many times have you pushed the PS4's share button? Upload your answer in the comments section below.

I have never actually used it. Part of the reason is I dont want to fill up my harddrive to quickly. Maybe once I get a bigger HD I will.
I never actually pushed it once yet :<
But I will take the thanks ^_^
Meanwhile I fully intend to rip that little button off the controller once I get a PS4...
I've only pressed to record some funny glitch, or one of Rivlals gloriously crashes, sadly, I don't think it pauses games that I've used it with. Rivals doesn't pause at all though, so that ones not the buttons fault.
Coming from a predominantly PC background, I've been taking screenshots like crazy just like I would with FRAPS. Very distracting...and I kinda wish it wasn't there. Also, the record function never seems record the last 15 minutes, but the last 15 minutes...45 minutes ago. Lastly, I occasionally accidentally press it thinking it's the Select button.
@Tasuki you won't of the 500gb HD space, only 400 or so is available to use the other 100gb seems reserved for recording videos and screenshots. It records even if you don't press the button by the way. If you press it it saves the last 15 minutes or so.
