Stick It to the Man Is May's European PlayStation 4 Freebie

I'm playing AC4 again and BF4 online so I need my PS+ sub anyway.
I didn't enjoy this the first time around and I only own a PS4 so another disappointment for me.
Ah well.

@get2sammyb I dont know how anyone can complain about that, well appart from 'teh indie' game on PS4 Been playing Muramasa recently on the Wii so it'll be good to have that on the go & Puppeteer looks fantastic. The original Payday was woeful so I might skip that. Voted puppeteer A great update for me, even intrigued by the Ps4 update as Im always partial to quirky looking games

As I only own a PS4 I was hoping for something a bit better but I guess you cant win them all.

@get2sammyb Aye I guess thats the problem sometimes, Ive had it happen to myself a couple of times. Still, at least the quality of the titles has improved in this update over recent months

@MadchesterManc for PS3 and Vita they are giving out some top stuff. I had a bit of s backlog when I owned a PS3!

I missed out on Puppeteer, so this is terrific news!

Muramasa looks like my kind of thing, Payday 2 will probably be worth a go, don't know a lot about Stick it to the man so will have a nosey but I haven't played any of the freebies on PS4 since Contrast, not that I was expecting anything other than indie for the first 2 years lol either way, no mither to me

Nice! Puppeteer and Muramasa for me. I've already bought Stick it to the Man for the VITA a few months ago.

@C120XY They reckon bigger releases are coming late this year.
It would have been nice to have something stronger though.

@get2sammyb I know right! I only have a ps4 but I love the indie titles that we get for free they are refreshing and a good break from A games and they are something I personally would never have bought on the previous consoles

Puppeteer is a wonderful game,anyone who hasn't played it is definitely in for a treat.

I hope we get Stick it to the man in NA,I've been wanting to try that one.Too bad it looks like it's not cross buy though.I don't have a PS4 yet but more reason to get one are always welcome.

@ToOGoodOfAPlaya that soon that's a shock, good stuff, I don't mind paying my sub either way, I got like 2 and a half years on a hotukdeals deal last year for 50quid so if they only give one properly awesome game away in that time then I'm still in the money lol

@C120XY Yeah I read it not too long back. Not sure how true though.
I play BF4 and AC4 online so that is pretty much the only reason I have atm to even get plus.

@get2sammyb i played it the first time around and it sucked. I downloaded Merc Kings just to try that and that was rubbish too. I dont expect triple a, but I feel that were it not for the fact I play BF4 online, I wouldn't even bother with plus just yet.

Is Stick it to the Man releasing as a free title on PS4 then? People shouldn't complain when $13 day 1 titles are free, even if they are indie.

Wii U is getting the game this spring so it seems bad timing for the publisher. I was planning on buying it on Wii U for the Gamepad support (that seems to be lacking in many Nintendo games) but not if I can play it w/ PS+.

Course the US PS+ list isnt out yet so I'll have to see.

Hmmm. Real hit and miss. Again. Muramasa is sensational but I own it. Puppeteer I'm intrigued by and almost bought last night so that's good. Payday 2 is really terrible and golf just does nothing for me - I'd rather watch Eastenders than even admit golf exists. The PS4 game though? Another indie that's already on PS3? Be still my beating heart. Really can't wait for the last quarter of the year when the PS4 becomes worth my money.

@MadchesterManc Muramasa is much better on the Vita and the DLC is really good too. Hopefully there will be a sale on the DLC sometime soon now.

Many ps4 offering for plus feel perfect for vita. At least for me I like merc king and dont starve at vita. Good thing merc king will be cross buy

I'd love to see legacy of kain soul reaver 2 and/or legacy of kain defiance added. Recent release of final fantasy x/x2 in HD shows it is possible. Just needs to be done

It does seem like they are literally just picking a random PC or PS3 release and saying, "thatll do for PS4".
Not a complaint but I personally think there are better choices to offer than what has been so.
At least for me.

I am sure in time we will get out blockbusters

Now I just gotta wait for the American update...

Really starting to think maybe I should buy a ps3 with all the cool games coming for free on that!! Plus with the new borderlands only coming to "last gen" I'd like to play it!

@get2sammyb I just think they could add something with a bit more substance.
Freedom Cry standalone for example. They did that with Blood Dragon.
Strider and Trials could also be options.
I dont expect it but the last few have been either rehashes or just plain rubbish in my opinion.

@ToOGoodOfAPlaya the problem is that with the ps4 being so new there is not a large selection of games to choose from to give away as PS+ freebies. Right now it's a few indies until there is a good backlog of older AAA titles.

Not a good month for my taste in games all round. Voted for Everybody's Golf, I think out of spite. Still who knows, something may surprise me.

@thedevilsjester The three I mentioned above are reasonable I think.
I understand there isnt a great backlog and I get this whole Indie thing but its quality I would like, which I dont feel I'm seeing, not necessarily AAA.
I don't understand why people assume this must be want I would like.

So far I had played 4 out of the five games offered after the PS4 launch games before their PS4 release, so there was zero incentive to try them again, and the only one I enjoyed playing again was Dont Starve.
Just my feelings on it.

That's 3 months in a row now we've had rubbish PS4 Plus games. C'mon, Sony!

AAAAAAAHHHH!!! I'm so sick of this every time I by a game it goes on to PS+ for free or for less $$$. I just bought hotshots golf yesterday! Now it will be free in 8 days. Also, just picked up Batman and Injustice on Thursday for PS Vita and it goes on sale 3 days later for half what I paid! I'm so done buying games!

@coolcrushkilla My solution is to not buy a thing for my Vita.

Haven't bought a game in over a year.

I was going to pick up Puppeteer last month so I'm really glad I didn't now. Muramasa Rebirth will be my side dish.

Very happy with mu rebirth and the ps3 titles. It will be a long while before I play any of them though.

We need better games for the ps4 please it's killing me every month hyped then your emotions die when you see the stupid horrible kids game we get why can't we get...mhmmm let's say grans theft auto 4/ sanadreas or something or maybe Hal and daxter, call of duty black ops 1, battlefield 3, ect I would love to see payday 2 free for ps4 all these games have to be on ps4 or others let the pepole talk and let's all agree I mean we all hate these games we are getting I would like minecraft to be free via PlayStation plus please

Sweet! I was hoping muramasa would drop in price but this is a god send. Puppeteer has been added to my archive for my shiny new ps4 in sept ^_^ Delighted! Best £3 I've spent all month!!! Keep it going ps+ !!!

At first I thought it would make the most sense to give away a game like knack on a rather empty month like may...but then I thought about it, and giving away their first AAA title is something they shouldn't announce til at least E3. I don't know anything about stick it to the man, but I'll check it out if it gets confirmed for the US.

Also, I do want to try muramasa, so I hope we get that over here as well =)

Puppeteer! Wooo! I loved the demo of it, and wanted it...but, I had the feeling it would turn up on PS+ and here we are I'm very very happy with this offering. The PS4 title looks smart too
The 1st Payday sucked bank robbers balls so I'll not bother with the sequel but it's still a good month.

Am liking the look of Stick It To The Man. Has a kind of skullmonkeys feel to it.
