It feels like an eternity ago, but Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition was one of the titles announced for the PlayStation 4 during the next-gen system’s coming out party last February. With the title finally due out on 19th August, developer Blizzard Entertainment has at last revealed the fruits of its partnership with platform holder Sony: exclusive content based on some of PlayStation's most popular brands.
Also available in the PlayStation 3 edition, you’ll be able to work your way through a unique Nephalem Rift inspired by The Last of Us. In this ominous randomised dungeon, you’ll face off against Stalkers, Clickers, and even Bloaters, all lifted directly from Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic world. And that’s not all, as you’ll be able to challenge the undead kitted out in six different armour sets inspired by PlayStation 2 classic Shadow of the Colossus.
You’ll need to redeem this content through the PlayStation Network, but it will be free with all new purchases of the game. Are you ready to return to Sanctuary? Leave some uber-rare loot in the comments section below.

@Tasuki should like this, I know he's given Diablo III some nice praise. Seems like a great game I just haven't gotten around to getting it yet so may as well wait just a little longer for this version.
Never played a Diablo game to be honest, not sure if it would be for me.
@Mrskinner the original was scary to me as a 9 year old kid, 2 was the reason inet cafés succeeded, and 3 has more combos/powers and is both for folks who have and haven't played the predecessors. I'd really recommend the series to anybody even considering it. Maybe D1 wouldn't run well on modern computers but there's a ps1 version out there somewhere. D2 is still fine on PC and D3 on ps4 will be better than PC. Also, weird to have TLOU stuff lol
This is awesome. I have went over 100 hours in D3 and can't wait for this version.
@Gamer83: Yes I am liking this news.
Looking forward to picking this one up in August. This should keep me busy till Destiny arrives.
@Tasuki did you get an alpha key for destiny? Been playing it and I love the game already. It's a day 1 for me now already
