Sony may have gone another E3 without really explaining how it attempts to revive the fortunes of its failing handheld format, but there was a PlayStation Vita killer app at its booth – the company just forgot to tell everyone. Assuming that it handles the release properly, Minecraft: PS Vita Edition has the potential to be a big hit, and it’s shaping up nicely.
If you’ve played the indie blockbuster before, then you’ll largely be familiar with the gameplay on display in the video embedded below. However, that’s the selling point: this is the complete tree punching experience in the palms of your hands. This version’s cross-buy with the PlayStation 3 release, too, so what’s not to love?

It is amazing how little press PS Vita got out of the biggest event of the year and there were plenty of opportunities do so. Not amazing, sad.
That video showed us how good it looks on Vita and that the person playing was having a hard time;)
Im surprised that people dont complain about the PS3 being completely ignored at E3 but declare the Vita dead
@N711 PS3 was and still is being supported (much to the dismay of those crying for next gen only experiences) and has third party support. Vita has neither.
It's too bad they didn't give the Vita more love at E3. Sony spent most of the conference showing off what the "next gen" console can do with its games, which is fine. They should just remember that they have a handheld... that needs games...
I don't agree
@N711 And thats fine
@Punished_Boss I agree
Ok... well i will be getting a vita game pretty soon when this comes out.... and im afraid my cellphone will be gone for awhile lol.
@Savino gravity rush / daze 2 will be on tgs
It comes from last year tgs
@N711 Well PS3 is getting LBP3, Fifa and Persona 5 that's is good AAA support plus the occasional indie like Hotline Miami 2.
@Jazzer94 I'm not saying PS3 got no support but it was ignored at E3. A lot of Games come. For PS4 and Vita. I see some good stuff coming
