i'm just glad that PS Now's open beta will be available to canadian gamers

well, gamescom is never a place they've been known to pull out big bangs for games, same with TGS, not so much. I think TGS is going to be more on the indie side of things.

There's still Gamescom and TGS this year as well. Wouldn't be surprised if Sony and MS both have at least one more big announcement lined up for one of those shows.

granted there are games coming out next year they were showing but my point is all I'm saying on this matter. Because of the lack of showings since games are still under the radar

Also, any games being made for 2015 and 2016 are either to early to show are still keeping secret for next year

Layden isn't solely to blame for that boring part of the conference but I just don't like the guy. I was never a huge fan of Tretton either but he was definitely a better speaker.

I'm back and forth on this guy. I think he had to try to get the conference to 90 minutes because Bethesda and a few others sure as heck weren't showing anything.

yea, Destiny is really what I'm excited for this year. I think next year is going to be a big one for Sony in E3. Hopefully they keep Shawn Layden off the stage or....

I will say this CoD looked great. First one I'm excited for since MW 1.

I think that is what did it for me with E3 from both ends. the remakes. CoD isn't a big deal, they don't even have to show it at E3, I'm going to buy it anyway.

I want these companies to start moving on. Kind of sad the two 'major' first party games from Sony and MS this holiday are re-releases.

I bought TLoU for PS3 and didn't finish it. I really didn't get into the game

yea, I won't buy the TLoU again.

I loved GTA V, pretty much everything about it. Not buying again though, same with TLoU.

the mini games sucked, they really didn't add much compared to GTA IV anyway

if its a game I really like, i purchase the season pass.

I do, but what I'm saying is, I'm hoping it's not a 'console' exclusive to either PS4 or X1. I feel like as many people as possible should be able to enjoy.

And why in the heck are they bringing GTA V to the PS4, am I the only person that thought the game was pretty bland outside of the story?

I think most people were waiting for Fallout 4, be it MS or Sony, everyone was waiting for something on that game, be it a teaser or anything.

I had to force myself to finish Arkham Origins. The only thing that kept me going was the story.

Destiny is probably my most anticipated game for Fall just barely over FC 4 just because I'm not 100% positive FC will be out this year. There have been some late delays this gen.

Just wish Batman was this year and MK X would be fairly early 2015 but I'm thinking MK could be as late as October.

Take Layden putting the building to sleep out of it, and Sony's conference started great and ended really strong.

From Ubi, Far Cry 4 and The Division look great as expected. I was much more impressed with AC: Unity than I thought I'd be and I love that Rainbow Six is back.

Well, there you go. I was actually hoping for an Everquest III showing from sony but nope, never happened

Also, I'm a huge Halo fan. Maybe I'm a bit generous with the score, but I liked MS' show a lot.

Shawn layden had that "I'm not a crook" gesture, everytime he was talking.

Completely agree about Layden, that was horrible. I'd have bumped it to an 8 without that.

I would have rated Sony's conference more if Shawn Layden got the hell off the stage earlier.

I was slightly more impressed with Sony than I expected. 7/10 for Sony. MS 8/10. Thought Ubi was better than both.

Microsoft's conference was better paced but I liked the games shown in Playstation's conference. Abzu and No Man's Sky were looking fantastic.

I never liked Resistance and I don't care much for Insomniac as developers anyway.

Even still, they were still underwhelming to watch even for me. I admit I am a sony fan, but the only game I can see me playing is sunset overdrive, but that isn't saying much.

MS conference was better paced. I don't know why Sony repeatedly makes the mistake of that 'bathroom break' moment every E3.

Crackdown was great, until I played inFamous. Crackdown 2 was straight garbage. Hopefully 3 is good. I have somewhat high hopes.

In my opinion sony did show more of what I wanted regardless of they were multiplat games.

crackdown is meh, the only good Fable games was the first one anyway, so that's a no go for me. There are better multiplayer shooters now besides Halo, so again, another meh.

I do have to say I think Nintendo will have the best exclusives. Between Zelda and X, that's more interesting than what Sony and MS have shown.

Shawn Layden was talking way to much, but I don't think games like Fallout will be coming out this early on in the consoles.

It was an okay conference, but this year there was so much pressure on to show something big after a year of hype and then delays
