A cartel of angry Mortal Kombat warriors are currently making their way over to Amazon UK’s head offices, as the British-based retailer appears to have leaked the next entry in NetherRealm Studios’ popular punch up property a teensy bit too early. The company’s since rectified its mistake, but product pages for the tenth entry in the fighting franchise were listed for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, as well as other formats.
Sadly, assuming that the listings are accurate, it seems that you won’t be ripping out any spines this year, as the sequel currently has a tentative 2015 deploy date. We’ll almost certainly find out for sure later today, as series creator Ed Boon has been hinting at some kind of 2nd June reveal for weeks now.
