Introducing bi-weekly editions of ‘What Are You Playing This Weekend’ is a bit like doing daily chores: no matter how hard you try to shake it up, there’s only one effective way of getting the job done. So, as usual, this unnecessary pre-amble is here to inform you that, yes, we’ve once again collated as many Push Square scribes as we could find, and asked them what they’re playing over the next few days. You should do the same below.

I simply will not rest until I finish the first season of The Walking Dead. I know, I’m a couple of years behind, but if I’m honest, I find it all a bit tedious in big bursts. There are some great moments in this series, and I certainly understand all of the critical acclaim that it attained, but I reckon that all four of the episodes that I’ve played thus far have been about 45 minutes too long. Either way, things are definitely coming to a head right now, so I can’t wait to wrap this up over the coming days.

This weekend sees the Destiny beta come to a close, so I'll be using its final moments to soak up as much atmosphere as I possibly can. I'll try that new mission on the moon, grab that awesome, exclusive, er, nameplate, and enter cryosleep until September rolls around. Thankfully, when the saga does end, I'll already have an unhealthy addiction to Rogue Legacy to look forward to, as I die countless times in order to bring you readers a review of the game.

As the end of school term has left me pre-occupied, I haven’t been able to take full advantage of the Destiny beta. I'm planning to rectify this with one last, binge gaming session before we must kiss each other goodbye. If my brain melts in the heat, I'll tackle the backlog by playing Watch Dogs, aimlessly running around doing the side quests that I can never resist. If I'm really lucky, though, I might just be able to squish The Walking Dead: Season Two in there, too.

This weekend will be spent squeezing every last drop of enjoyment out of the Destiny beta before it ends. With the news of another story mission unlocking, I'll be making sure that I'm online and ready to go as soon as it drops. I'm certainly not looking forward to the inevitable Destiny withdrawal that I'll be suffering once it is all over, where I'll be left to count the days until I can restart my Warlock, which of course everyone knows is the best class.

I'm going to be playing even more of the Destiny beta, because it's just so much fun – more fun than some ‘finished’ products, as a matter of fact. Then I'll be taking a couple days off to gather myself for some more The Last of Us – this time in shiny 1080p.

I think I'm on a Legend of Zelda binge right now. Having finished the eccentric yet lovely Spirit Tracks, I recently started a new adventure in The Wind Waker HD and have a good feeling that it will become one of my favourites in the franchise. On the other hand, I would also like to complete the Cold, Cold Heart DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins this weekend. I'll be sure to fool around with the Destiny beta in between all of that to play the rest of the story missions as well.
