With the release calendar looking emptier than a hipster’s apartment in central London, Watch Dogs has managed yet another week at the summit of the UK sales charts. While the open world epic faced increased competition from the likes of FIFA 14 and Call of Duty: Ghosts, it’s probably going to remain at the top until The Last of Us Remastered deploys later in the month.
Elsewhere in the best-sellers breakdown, Wolfenstein: The New Order continued to prove the value of positive word of mouth in fourth, while Sniper Elite III slipped down the chart into fifth. Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition built a shelter in seventh, as inFAMOUS: Second Son held onto its place in the Top 40 by finishing in, er, 40th position.
As always, you can peruse the full list of movers and shakers through here. With very few new titles on the horizon, we’re expecting another painfully slow week next time around. Fortunately, things start to pick up again in August, with Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Diablo III, and much more lingering on the horizon.
