Love him or hate him, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts character designer and regular game director Tetsuya Nomura still boasts a lot of influence when it comes to giant Japanese publisher, Square Enix. So much so, that he's designed a new Play Arts Kai Batman figure in conjunction with DC Comics.
To be totally honest, we're not sure what to make of the artist's vision of the caped crusader. Sure, he looks stylish, and the detail is the real star of the show here, but he isn't quite what we're used to seeing when it comes to the incredibly popular super hero. What do you think? Are you a fan of Nomura's work, or would you tell him to stay far away from the Dark Knight? Let us know how you'd spruce up the bat in the comments section below.

I think Nomura's approaching self-parody at this point. Utterly ridiculous.
This looks freaking awesome! to me and I'm not even a FF or KH fan
Pointless.
Say what you want but he has designed some awesome characters imo. Besides that though, he's been around to long and I'm quite sure there are better designers out there that we may see in the very near future.
I'm kinda okay with it until I see the arms coming out of the wings/cape. That's a touch too far. Other than that, pretty cool — especially the mask — but it ain't Batman.
Super Mechabatman Ultimate? You mean the Big-O?
It looks pretty cool
It looks like jehuty and batman had sex and this is what came out lol. I don't think this is quite right for batman, but I love it nonetheless. It should be an uber optional boss in kh3
Im pretty sure thats Spawn, not Batman.
The arms coming out the top of the wings are a but much. I wouldn't mind this as extra costume in Arkham Knight though.
That'd be cool to unlock/buy as a costume in Arkham Knight, but I'd never want Batman's "main look" to be that.
Looks pretty cool!
