Battlefield 4 may be more broken than world politics, but that’s not stopping EA Games from celebrating Independence Day in style. Swedish studio DICE has added a slew of firework displays, patriotic jet trails, and glitter to the Dawnbreaker map in its maligned first-person shooter, all of which seem perfectly appropriate for the 4th of July.
Sadly, this content is only currently available on the Community Test Environment for the PC, but there’s a good chance that it may make its way onto public servers, and, crucially, the PlayStation 4 in the future. To be honest, we’re not sure how relevant this would be in, say, six months time – but who doesn’t like glittery explosions, huh?

Hey people liked the iSS visuals a lot. A little late, indeed, tho.
Well that's disappointing. And boring.
Would've been cool to fight giant alien ships with force fields.
I think it's a nice touch
